heyPatient shapes the future of digital patient interaction. Our app, web frontends and terminals are used every day and provide clarity, orientation and a positive experience for patients – before, during and after their treatment.

Our UX/UI work is close to real life. We co create with customers and development teams. Design at heyPatient means creating services that are intuitive, technically sound and easy to configure in a SaaS environment.

Your role

You are a UX/UI Designer with a strong product mindset.
You design user experiences across all touchpoints and support them from first idea to implementation. You always think design together with technology, data flows and real hospital processes.

You work hands on, iteratively and impact driven – with joy in designing, testing and continuously improving.

Your tasks

  • Design and concept of UX/UI for app, web and terminals

  • Visualisation and further development of customer journeys along the digital patient journey

  • Design of new features and continuous improvement of existing ones

  • Close collaboration with development and product to ensure feasibility and quality

  • Contribution across all product phases from ideation to testing

  • Planning, execution and evaluation of usability tests with patients and customers

  • Creation and maintenance of user stories, wireframes and clickable prototypes

  • UX writing and ensuring consistent language across all channels

  • Thinking along configuration options, variants and scalability in a SaaS context

  • Structured work with tickets, backlogs and requirements in the development process

 

What you bring

  • Solid experience in UX/UI design for digital products or services

  • Strong sense for interaction, user needs and detail

  • Organisational skills and a structured, careful way of working

  • Understanding of technical basics of app and web applications

  • Experience working with ticketing systems and backlogs, for example Jira

  • Customer oriented mindset and joy in making life easier for others

  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritise and react flexibly to changing requirements

  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams

  • Experience with React Native, web technologies or design systems is a plus

  • Interest in healthcare or motivation to deepen your knowledge

  • Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
