Erik Eaker - International Strategy Advisor

We are delighted to welcome Erik Eaker to our Advisory Team. With his extensive leadership background in healthcare and proven track record in scaling digital health innovation, Erik will bring invaluable expertise to strengthen our mission at heyPatient.

Erik Eaker is the Chief Operating Officer of Glytec, a SaaS company specializing in insulin management software for hospitals. He brings more than two decades of experience leading healthcare technology and operations across the U.S. and Europe.

Earlier in his career, Erik held a variety of leadership roles at Humana, a U.S. health and wellbeing company. He established and managed operations for Humana Europe in London, an NHS commissioning services provider that introduced new payer capabilities to over 50 NHS organizations.

At Humana U.S., he directed enterprise-wide initiatives to foster cross-business innovation, enhance consumer and provider experiences, and establish the company’s interoperability strategy. He also led operations and innovative programming with foundations, nonprofits, and academic institutions as part of Humana’s Bold Goal population health initiative.

Following Humana, Erik served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations at BioIQ, a healthcare technology company providing population health solutions through at-home diagnostic testing and health screening.

At BioIQ, he led account management, supply chain, and customer service functions, and was part of the executive team that grew revenue by more than 500% and reached profitability while maintaining headcount and transitioning to a remote workforce.

After BioIQ’s acquisition by Let’s Get Checked in 2022, Erik continued as SVP of Business Operations, supporting expansion in at-home testing, telehealth services, and pharmacy.

Erik combines a deep understanding of healthcare delivery and payer systems with a strong record of driving digital health solutions at scale.
